Seniors Helping Seniors® – Somerset & Union Region, NJ

Job Description:
Seniors Helping Seniors® is seeking a friendly and dependable Community Outreach Representative to support a short-term outreach project. This role involves visiting local community locations to introduce our senior care services, distribute flyers and business cards, and build referral relationships.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, working independently, and making a positive community impact—without a long-term commitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit senior centers, medical offices, rehab facilities, churches, libraries, and similar locations

  • Distribute flyers and business cards

  • Introduce Seniors Helping Seniors® and explain our services

  • Collect names and contact information for future follow-up

  • Identify potential referral partners

  • Maintain simple outreach logs

Qualifications:

  • Outgoing, professional, and comfortable speaking with new people

  • Strong communication skills

  • Reliable transportation for local travel

  • Organized and dependable

  • Sales, marketing, outreach, or healthcare experience a plus (not required)

  • Passion for helping seniors

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Part-time

  • Pay: $20.00 per hour

  • Schedule: Flexible; weekday daytime availability preferred

  • Work Location: In person (local travel within Somerset & Union County, NJ)
